Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy is a procedure that involves the injection of platelet-rich blood, which activates healing growth factors, from the patient’s own body to promote the repair of injured tissues and stimulate the regeneration of damaged cells at the injection site.
This procedure uses the body’s own natural regeneration process to activate stem cells and grow new tissue. Originally used in reconstructive surgery, dentistry, and sports medicine to accelerate joint, tissue and wound repair, PRP has been refined for a range of cosmetic and other medical applications.
Containing only autologous components, PRP has been clinically proven to be one of the safest and most effective cellular rejuvenation treatments available.
The Priapus Shot®, sometimes known as the “P-Shot®,” utilizes natural plasma to create a more solid and sizable erection for men who experience erectile dysfunction.
This state-of-the-art treatment uses your own plasma to regenerate damaged tissue, and your body will not reject the treatment.
This treatment is designed to improve sexual performance in men who have lost function due to past surgeries, prostate cancer, an enlarged prostate, medication they are taking or a variety of other medical conditions, such as high blood pressure or diabetes.
Not only is the Priapus Shot® virtually painless, but the treatments can generally be carried out in as little as 30 minutes.
Almost every patient who has the Priapus Shot® enjoys significant improvements to their sexual performance.
That being said, the results can vary between men. Some of the most noticeable and common benefits include:
The P-shot procedure begins with our physician applying a numbing agent and local anesthetic to the genital area to eliminate any potential pain. We then take a blood sample, usually from an arm, to extract the PRP from.
Once our centrifuge separates the PRP from your blood, we then inject it into the identified areas that would fully maximize the effects. This gives the PRP a direct route to the genital areas that require healing and stimulation.
Once the procedure is over, we may provide a penis pump for clients to use. This is a final measure to make sure all the PRP is fully distributed. Depending on the situation, we may recommend that the penis pump be used for a certain amount of time following the procedure.
There may be minor side effects like swelling and redness, but those typically subside within six hours. You should be able to resume normal activity within a few hours of the surgery with no complications, though we recommend sexual activity be resumed no sooner than two days after the procedure.
